Biography
Former student of the prestigious acting class of Cours Florent and the Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique, where Clotilde Hesme met the director/actor Thierry de Peretti and stage director/actor François Orsoni with whom she frequently collaborates, especially on the play Baal, in 2010 at Avignon Festival. She will work with him soon at the Théâtre de la Bastille for the play adaptation of Coriolan.
In theater, she worked with Christophe Rauck, Michel Deutsch, Christophe Honoré, Ludovic Lagarde and Bruno Bayen.
In movies, she performed for diverse filmmakers such as Jérôme Bonnel, Christophe Honoré, Raoul Ruiz, the Larrieu brothers, Eric Guirado, Bertrand Bonello, Jacques Maillot, Catherine Corsini, Diane Kurys, Fabrice Gobert, Emilie Cherpitel, Caroline Deruas and Alix Delaporte with whom she won the César of the Most Promising Actress in 2012.
She worked twice with Luc Bondy (La seconde surprise de l’amour and Tartuffe) and in 2018, met again with her Conservatoire teacher, Catherine Hiégel, for The Game of Love and Chance at the Porte-Saint-Martin Theater.
In 2012, she joined Fabien Gorgeart for a short film, Un chien de ma chienne, and in 2017, he wrote for her the key role of his first feature film, Diane a les épaules. From their collaboration and professional complicity, stemmed the desire to produce the adaptation of Stallone, written by Emmanuèle Bernheim. The idea flourished in November 2018 and January 2019 during a residency at the Centquatre, a cultural center located in Paris. The play will be performed in October 2019 during the Paris Autumn Festival.
