Biography
Galatéa Bellugi begins to act at a very young age after her studies in film and her beginning in Ariane Mnouchkine’s Théâtre du Soleil. She gets her first role at the age of 7 in Jérôme Bonnell’s film Les Yeux Clairs and was selected to be one of the three main characters part in Hélène Zimmer’s teen movie Being 14.
In Guillaume Senez’s Keeper, she plays a pregnant teenager who fights to keep her child and lands a role in Katell Quillévéré’s ensemble film Heal the living. Galatéa Bellugi is an experienced actress who partnered with Vincent Lindon in the leading role of a young “seer” claiming to be visited by the Virgin Mary in the film The Apparition. In 2019, her performance earned her a nomination in the Révélations des César category.
At the heart of the Palace years with Isabelle Huppert and Melvil Poupaud, she transforms herself for Eva Ionesco’s Golden Youth.
