Biography
Grégoire Ludig was trained in the Ateliers du Sudden. He started his career in theater under the direction of Benoit Lavigne and Raymond Acquaviva.
He created the Palmashow with his associate David Marsais and presented their first skits in the Yvelines where they are from.
They followed up with representations at Pigalle’s Folie’s and at the Palais des Glaces. They simultaneously, launched their videos online, then broadcasted on tv channel D8 with short programmes mixing skits and spoofs such as Remakers, La Folle Histoire du Palmashow, Very Bad Blagues followed up by their show Palmashow l’Emission and two prime time specials La Folle Soirée du Palmashow. They were invited on stage by performer Florence Foresti on one of her one-woman-show Florence Foresti Party in Bercy.
In February 2019, they created a special prime time show on TF1 which attracted 4 millions viewers. This success resonated with their 2016 1st feature film La Folle Histoire de Max et Léon.
In cinema, Grégoire started acting under the direction of Jean-Pierre Ameris (Romantics Anonymous), then worked with Mona Achache (Les Gazelles), Nicolas Benamou and Philippe Lacheau (Babysitting), Marc Fitoussi (Maman a tort), Alain Chabat (Christmas & Co.) as well as Albert Dupontel (9-Month Stretch).
In 2016, filmmaker Marion Vernoux gave him the key role in Half Sister, Full Love besides Virginie Efira and Géraldine Nakache. In 2018, he starred in Joséphine De Meaux’s debut film Snowlidays and Quentin Dupieux’s Keep an Eye Out where he plays a technicolor duet with Benoit Poelvoorde. This last film earned him a pre-nomination in 2019 César’s Most Promising Actor category.
