SUBMIT YOUR FILMS!

7^th Champs-Elysées Film Festival (June 12^th to 19^th, 2018)

Preselection of American & French Independent films.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

In order to be submitted, your film must comply with the following:

• For American feature length & short films (fiction, animation, documentary):

• USA produced or in case of coproduction, a USA-majority coproduction.
• Being completed during the 12 months preceding the festival.
• Must not have been shown on the Internet or released on DVD/VOD in France.
• Feature films:
  • Must exceed 60 minutes
  • Must be a French premiere
• Short films:
  • Must not exceed 15 minutes (end credits excluded).
  • No obligation for a French premiere.

• For French feature length & short films (fiction, animation, documentary):

• French produced or in case of coproduction, a French-majority coproduction.
• Being completed during the 12 months preceding the festival.
• Must not have been shown on the Internet or released on DVD/VOD in France.
• Feature films:
  • Must exceed 60 minutes
  • Must be a Parisian premiere
• Short films:
  • Must not exceed 15 minutes (end credits excluded).
  • No obligation for a French premiere.

MATERIAL

You must provide a valid online screener for the preselection of the film (feature length or short). Preferably a Vimeo link, available until the end of April 2018. If your film is selected, you must provide another online screener available until the end of June 2018.

ENTREE FEE

The submission fees can be paid by PayPal, or FilmFreeway or Check (for French submissions only) to Champs-Elysées Film Festival.

• 35 euros for feature length films.
• 10 euros for short films.

SELECTION

• You will be informed by the Selection Committee by the end of April, before the online press conference.
• If your film is selected, you must provide an unencrypted DCP for the screenings.
• If you do not have french subtitles for American films or english subtitles for French films, the festival will create the subtitles.
• You will need to provide a DVD or Bluray for the festival’s archives.
• Further information will be provided by the Festival as soon as the Selection is made.

DEADLINE

• April 8^th, 2018 the latest.
• The festival retains the right to disqualify an entry, with no refunded fee, if submission guidelines are not met.

• Only completed applications will be considered for the preselection:
  • Entry Form duly completed/dated/signed;
  • Regulations dated/signed;
  • Payment by PayPal : please provide a copy of the PayPal invoice;
  • Or payment by Filmfreeway
  • Or payment by Check: payable to Champs-Elysées Film Festival to be send to Chantal Lian at the following address: Champs-Elysées Film Festival 60 rue Pierre Charron 75008 Paris.
