HOMING IN follows Joan as she’s finishing the laundry, and she hears someone come inside. She starts talking to this man from the other room, thinking it’s her husband, only to be shocked when she discovers it’s a complete stranger. While navigating this fearful and unexpected encounter, Joan finds herself conversing with this stranger as she would her own husband. The film leaves us with a profound yet relatable loneliness, as Joan wonders ‘even if the wrong man comes home, what’s the difference?’
