Biography

Trained pianist, Cléa Vincent perpetuates the tradition of French variety while adding musical arrangement to its organic and synthetic, tints which gives her a resolutely modern and free tone. She makes her debut on the Pop In open stage, in Paris, and releases her first EP in February 2014, including her single Retiens mon désir. It is a winning formula and Cléa releases a second EP on October 2014 with the single Château Perdu. Then comes her first TV appearances with the massively aired title track.

This moment also marks the beginning of her collaboration with Raphaël Léger (drummer of Tahiti 80) as arranger and co-composer, which gives her songs a new pop and groovy electro aspect. In 2015, she records Retiens mon désir, her album. Combining a series of pop hits, the influence of « tinkered » songs from Philippe Katerine or Kim Giani, or Clea’s jazzy background, we find in this album, everything that has made the success of her previous EPs, with an even more powerful rhythmical base and a writing always more outright and poetic.
