Biography

Lola Créton starts her acting career very young : in 2004, at age 10, she plays in her first short-film. She pursues her career in this format until she gets a small part in Alfred Lot’s feature-film Room of Death in 2007. If the young actress has fun with many other teenagers in Trouble at Timpetill by Nicolas Barry (2008), she has her first leading role in that adaptation of Bluebeard by Catherine Breillat (2009). In 2011, the general public discovers her in the lead role of Iris in Bloom by Valérie Mréjen and Bertrand Schefer, then in Goodbye First Love by Mia Hansen-Løve, two gracefully carried portraits of teenagers. Lola Créton then plays a young woman in search of freedom in Something in the Air by Olivier Assayas (2012) and drifting in Bastards by Claire Denis (2013).

After the thriller Disparue en hiver and the TV movie Deux (2015), she appears in Dominique Cabrera’s new movie, adapted from the novel of Maylis de Kerangal, Corniche Kennedy (2017).
