The members of Zombie Zombie never run out of ideas. Always looking for new and unexpected sounds, they draw their inspiration from other forms of art, such as cinema and visual art.
They have released a new album Slow Futur on April 22nd 2016. (Versatile/Modulor).
This project is the result of an encounter with Martin Palisse and Elsa Guérin from Cirque Bang Bang. To compose this album, the band dived into their visual world to create a connexion between juggling, movement and music, whether its is electronic, instrumental, recorded, live, preexisting ou created specifically. The composition operates by pattern transformations and overlaps of melodic and rhythmic layers, matching the choreographic writing of juggling and movement (repetition, transformation, variation).
This thirst for new experiences and insatiable curiosity is what makes the strength of their work and makes it unique. The originality of this project proves, once more, that Zombie Zombie isn’t done surprising and hypnotizing us yet.
