Stéphane Miroux came to Paris to work in a calendar-making company. He lives a dull life which he compensates for by dreaming. In front of cardboard cameras, he invents a tv show about dreams. One day, he meets Stephanie, his neighbor, and falls in love with her. Originally charmed by the eccentricities of this surprising boy, the young woman gets scared and ends up pushing him away. Not knowing how to seduce her, Stéphane decides to find the solution to his problem in his imagination.
