Married to a miner in Pennsylvania and mother of two, Wanda doesn’t take care of them nor of her house and spends most of her days slouched in the living room couch, with her robe and her rollers. With no personality or will, she agrees to a divorce. Alone, homeless and without money, she wanders aimless until she meets Dennis, a thief, and becomes his mistress and accomplice.
