Biography
After studying cello and classical singing at Reims’Conservatoire National, Jeanne Added joins Paris’ Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse’s Jazz course. She is then admitted in London’s Royal Academy of Music. After numerous collaborations within the jazz milieu, she began to play solo in 2008.
In 2011, she released an EP and followed up in 2015 with her first album Be Sensational. On her second album cover, Radiate, released in 2018, Jeanne Added looked at the same direction as her first.
Her second album is produced by the electronic music band Maestro, composed by her friends Frédéric Soulard, met at Paris’ Conservatoire National Supérieur and Mark Kerr, former drummer of the Rita Mitsouko.
Singer-songwriter, she was awarded with two Victoires de la musique in 2019 for Radiate, as the best female artist and best rock album of the year.
She will soon perform in various music festivals such as Les Eurockéennes de Belfort, Les Vieilles Charrues and Rock en Seine.
