Biography
FAIRE was created in Paris in January 2015. At that time, Romain, Raphaël and Simon triturated and experimented sounds with all kinds of machines and instruments in an hotel basement.
The group performed frequently at various artistic events in galleries and exhibition venues where it played ambient sets. Soon their audience expanded and they were then invited to perform on larger stages.
After having performed at Paris Psych Fest 2015, FAIRE decided to leave France to broaden its horizons. It was the beginning of a one-year trip that started in Montreal and ended in Mexico City.
During that year the group played about thirty dates and recorded an EP in New York: KNOW.
Back in France, FAIRE released their new EP LE TAMALE, in February 2017.
