Debra Granik is the director and co-writer of Winter’s Bone, nominated for Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Actress (Jennifer Lawrence), Best Adapted Screenplay (Debra Granik & Anne Rosellini) and Best Supporting Actor.
In 2004, Debra Granik won the Director’s Award at Sundance Film Festival for her first feature film Down to the Bone.
In 2015, her documentary Stray Dog was nominated at the Independant Spirit Award.
In 2018, Leave no trace premiered at Sundance and Director’s Fortnight.
