Biography
Océan, transgender actor, made his public coming out in May 2018. First as a singer, under the name Oshen, he released 3 albums with the label V2/ Polydor until 2007, then as a solo performer, under the name Océanerosemarie, with the representation of La Lesbienne Invisible for over 4 years, 500 presentations and 40 000 spectators from 2009 to 2014.
He followed up with his new creation Chatons Violents which replicated the same success as his first show and toured until February 2019.
Océan wrote and directed Embrasse-Moi ! with Cyprien Vial, a lesbian romantic comedy where he played the main character next to Alice Pol and Michèle Laroque (Nolita Cinéma).
He also collaborated as a writer, on Blandine Lenoir’s Aurore, and on the play L’Ombre de la Baleine from/with Mikaël Chirinian.
Between 2013 and 2017, Océan reported on news for the radio France Inter and the web show Arrêt sur Image. He released several books such as Le Guide du Mariage homo in 2012 (edited at La Martinière), La Lesbienne Invisible as a comic book (edited at Delcourt) and Ma cuisine lesbienne (edited at Des Ailes sur un Tracteur).
In 2018, he performed in Samantha Markowic’s play Justice at the Théâtre de l’Œuvre where he shared the stage with Naidra Ayadi and Camille Cottin, re-staged La Lesbienne Invisible with actress Marine Baousson and directed his eponymous documentary series Océan for France Télévisions/Slash.
