Labidi is a young, broke writer. To survive, he works as a bike messenger and lives in a shared tiny apartment. Between his shady deals and side jobs, Labidi tries to reconcile his dreams of writing, his love life and a lifestyle beyond his means.

Louda Ben Salah-Cazanas, born in 1988, grew up in Lyon where he studied political science. After an internship at the daily newspaper Libération in the culture department, he started making films. He has directed several short films, including Genève, selected at the Clermont-Ferrand festival. Le monde après nous is his first feature film, it was presented at the Berlinale 2021 in the Panorama section.
