Mond’s directorial and writing debut, James White, premiered at Sundance where it won the Next Audience Award as well as the Audience Award at AFI Fest, the Revelations Prize at Deauville Film Festival, and Don Quixote Award at the Locarno Film Festival. Mond was also nominated for the Breakthrough Director Gotham Award and Best First Feature Independent Spirit Award. Mond’s producing credits include the critically acclaimed films Afterschool, Two Gates of Sleep, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Simon Killer and Piercing.
