For over 3 years, La Flèche d’Or has been an associative and cultural venue in the 20th arrondissement of Paris that offers community shows and activites.
Each month, artists come to perform for cinema-themed drag nights. Habibi, Chanson pour mes ami·e·s follows the set-up of the latest cabaret season.
From costume design to group rehearsals, the film paints the portraits of five drag artists and of the ways their political engagement echoes that of La Flèche d’Or. Amongst the cast and the volunteers alike, each deals with questions of hosting and of collectivity. A politically engaged, festive and friendly drag show, all the way to the grand finale.
