[Competition] French independent feature films

A selection of six feature films – including three first films – that paints a picture of the latest independent French productions and questions our era through the prism of creation.

It seems like the six filmmakers in official competitions have been led by the same concurrent idea to seek an (illusionary) refuge and to find their place in a fragmented society. Between reflections on social injustices and a kind of chronicle of the lonely ones, this horizon of gazes questions a world that escapes us and the eternal quest for a space of freedom by bearing witness more vastly to need for the collective and for new solidarities.
