La carrière de Paloma Colombe est à l’image de ses influences musicales : plurielle. Depuis plus d’une décennie, l’artiste construit un récit musical puissant et sans concession à travers les festivals français (Eurockéennes, Transmusicales, Peacock Society) ou encore trois dates remarquées en première partie de Marc Rebillet à l’Olympia et à Pleyel. Pour autant, sa vision est loin de se restreindre au seul univers du DJing. Elle a une formation en cinéma documentaire depuis San Francisco où elle s’initie également au DJing en prenant part à la scène queer locale en 2011. Paloma Colombe réalise Planet Malek en 2019. Son travail de programmatrice et de chroniqueuse au Nova Club révèle son engagement sur la question de la pluralité des représentations sur scène. Elle transmet sa passion du DJing auprès de jeunes enfants et d’adultes, qu’elle conçoit comme un levier d’empouvoirement pour démystifier l’usage des platines pour tous et toutes. En octobre 2023, Paloma Colombe a lancé l’initiative “Réinventer la Nuit”, en collaboration avec Consentis et Au-delà du Club, pour lutter contre les violences sexistes et sexuelles dans le milieu de la musique électronique.

Paloma Colombe’s career resembles her musical influences: plural. For over a decade, the artist has built a powerful and uncompromising musical tale through French festivals (Eurockéennes, Transmusicales, Peacock Society) as well as three notable openings for Marc Rebillet at Olympia and Pleyel. Still, her vision is far from restricted to DJing alone. She trained in documentary filmmaking in San Fransisco where she also got initiated to DJing through the local queer scene in 2011. Paloma Colombe directed Planet Malek in 2019. Her work as a programer and columnist with Nova Club reveals her commitment to the question of plural representations on stage. She shares her passion for DJing with young children and adults, as an empowering lever to demystify the world of turntables for all. In October 2023, Paloma Colombe launched the initiative “Reinventing the Night” in collaboration with “Consentis” and “Au-delà du Club”, to fight against sexist and sexual violences in the world of electronic music.
