Angal (he/him) is a queer transmasc writer-director, photographer, and fourth-year MFA Film thesis student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He received a B.A. in English at Columbia University. His photography and writing has been published in The New York Times, GQ, Artforum, Teen Vogue, and Out magazine. The Dalles is his cinematic writing and directorial debut.
