Following the end of the 11th edition which took place from June 21 to 28 2022, Champs-Élysées Film Festival launched its latest summer project: The French Tour. Its first edition took place in summer 2022, and offered the premiere of works that shed light on the new generation of American filmmakers to French Audiences. The French Tour took place from July 7 to 20 in 3 French cities: Aix-en-Provence, Cahors and Biarritz, where feature length and short films were presented, after their screenings in Paris in June, as part of the festival’s official selection.
This year, the Champs-Elysées Film Festival is back in full swing with the second edition of its French Tour, which will run from September 2023 to early October.
It will be held again in Aix-En-Provence and Cahors, and for the first time in Nice, Marseille and Perpignan! These cities will host previews of a selection of short films and two American feature films.
Just as the US Tour has done in various American cities, this second edition of the French Tour will be an exceptional opportunity to showcase and promote new takes on American independent cinema in various French cities, to reach out to audiences, to celebrate discovery, creation and freedom, and to take our turn in offering a journey through American territory.
