US Tour

Organized since 2017, the Champs-Elysées Film Festival’s US Tour offers American audiences a re-run of films from the two selections of French shorts and features, with the aim of offering a preview screening of the “New French Generation” across the Atlantic, and discovering emerging talent and new voices in French independent creation. The event is also intended as an echo on American soil of the festival’s activities in France, with the aim of creating a genuine cultural emulation between the two countries.

The US Tour 2023 will take place in Portland, San Francisco, Berkeley, Chicago and New York from October 27 to November 17, 2023, in the presence of Justine Lévêque, Artistic Director of the festival. The selected films will make their North American premiere. The festival will also take part in the professional days of the Cinémania festival in Montreal (November 7-12).

“Provoking discussions, emotions, discoveries and encounters, both human and artistic, between our two countries is part of the festival’s DNA, and one of the primary ambitions of our US Tour. It’s a great pleasure to welcome back the American public, as well as the American cultural institutions and universities that have been promoting and supporting the festival for seven years now, and to give them a sneak preview of our selections.”

Justine Lévêque – Artistic Director of Champs-Elysées Film Festival
