Erex, Alexandra Dezzi’s musical double, was born in the footnotes of her third upcoming novel, following Silence, radieux (2018), La colère (2020), and the album Sextape (2013) in which she writes and sings under the name of Kincy, with her twin sister within the duo Orties. Erex, like a constellation, first hatched as a “manifesto-song” – the very first one created in this upcoming solo album, then imposed itself as a first name, hence baptizing and conceptualizing the new artistic identity of Alexandra Dezzy. Erex (RX) is to be thought of as a rebirth: an affirmation of life.
