Lawrence Valin made his film debut as an actor, notably in Le Beau Monde by Julie Lopes-Curval and Lola Pater by Nadir Moknèche. He joined the Fémis, in the La Résidence programme and directed Little Jaffna. In 2019, his medium-length film, The Loyal Man, a romance in the Tamil mafia of Paris between a henchman and an illegal immigrant, will be released. At the same time, he is being accompanied at Groupe Ouest for the development of his first feature film, Little Jaffna (Sopadin Screenplay Award 2023), which will be an undercover film in the Tamil gangs of Paris.
