Fran is back in her hometown at the foot of the Pyrenees. He dives back into the world he has left in order to become a dancer. There is his mother, his sister, and the ghosts of the past. Nothing goes according to plan. And so he starts dancing, away from onlookers, as a prayer to ward off bad luck. To the pulsating beat of Bolero, this trip down the lanes of memory and desire will take him, as well as the entire village, towards a joyfully chaotic climax.
