SYNOPSIS

L’Acteur ou la surprenante vertu de l’incompréhension is a mockumentary that follows Raphaël Quenard’s eponymous character during the shooting of a feature films where he has one of the leading roles. Despite his passion, grand theories and hazy theories around acting, Raphaël’s peculiar style and methods are rarely understood. This absurd comedy camps an odd and endearing character that mixes absurd humour with unexpected flashes of brilliance, and tells the story of an actor that will single-handedly annihilate the movie of a devastated filmmaker and his entire crew powerless in the face of such excentricity.
