“Clara Ysé, horses of fire, fairy syncopation. It is said that the poem was originally a song. Like all mythologies, it has become untraceable. However, when listening to Clara Ysé and her words like a cavalcade, her prophetic verses, her voice that bends from the shadows to the light, we might believe the poem was made flesh. Clara Ysé, the singer/poet, and her prodigious musicians help us make our way through a forest of unclassifiable symbols as they borrow and synthesize various rhythms/myths. Between French pop, soprano scales, Latin American folk, songs, she moves forward, balancing between worlds, on the edge of words, and unites them in a powerful, bewitching and generous performance.”
