Two exceptional personalities from American independent creation will honor us with their presence for the 11th edition of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival : the director and screenwriter Ari Aster and the musician and film music composer Dan Deacon.
Together they symbolize the audacity and authenticity of a new generation that questions codes and genre while already registering within the best of the 7th American art. Carried by works eclectic and singular, all the nuances of contemporary American cinema will be celebrated through a retrospective of their work, exceptional masterclass with the public and a “Carte Blanche”. Whether exploring the intimate with the works of Ari Aster, or the musical excursion from one cinematographic genre to another with Dan Deacon, these two emblematic figures contribute to writing the history of American independent cinema.
