Rémi has directed a few short films that did not meet with the resounding success he had hoped for. So this year, he has agreed to lead a film workshop in a high school in the Paris suburbs. As the weeks go by, a more and more intimate bond will develop between him and the students.

After studying at the Beaux-Arts and Le Fresnoy, Sébastien Betbeder directed several short films. Then Nuage, his first feature film, followed by Les Nuits avec Théodore and 2 Autumns, 3 Winters (French: 2 automnes, 3 hivers). In 2014, he began with Inupiluk a Greenlandic trilogy, which ended with Journey to Greenland (French: Le Voyage au Groenland). Sébastien Betbeder then directed Marie et les naufragés, Ulysses & Mona (French: Ulysse & Mona), Debout sur la montagne and Les Braves, a feature film that takes up the most offbeat vein of his approach again and is scheduled for release in 2022.
