Vincent ROTTIERS decided to act at a very young age, and got noticed by Christophe RUGGIA, who offered him first role in Les Diables, in 2002, when he was 15.
After a role in Narco (directed by Gilles LELLOUCHE and Tristan AUROUET), he played twice the part of a teen who lost his bearings: the one Vanessa PARADIS protects in Mon Ange (Serge FRYDMAN, 2005) and which Julie DEPARDIEU takes in in Le Passager (Eric CARAVACA), a role for which he was César-nominated for best promising actor in 2007.
Later on, he acted in L’Ennemi Intime (Florent-Emilio SIRI), À L’Origine (Xavier GIANNOLI), Je Suis Heureux Que Ma Mère Soit Vivante (Claude et Nathan MILLER), and Qu’un Seul Tienne Et Les Autres Suivront (Léa FEHNER).
In 2010, he acted in Le Monde Nous Appartient (Stephan STREKER) and co-starred in Avant L’Aube (Raphaël JACOULOT) along with Jean-Pierre BACRI. He also played in Chroniques D’Une Cour De Récré (Brahim FRITAH).
In 2014, Roschdy ZEM offered him the leading role of Bodybuilder. The same year, he was in Valentin Valentin, Pascal THOMAS’s adaptation of Ruth RENDELL’s Tigerlily’s Orchids, before acting in Dheepan (Jacques AUDIARD), Palme d’Or in Cannes and for which he got a César nomination for best supporting role.
His upcoming films include Nocturama (Bertrand BONELLO), Espèces Menacées (Gilles BOURDOS) and Toril (Laurent TEYSSIER).
