Zita HANROT made her screen debut in Radiostars, starring Manu PAYET and Clovis CORNILLAC. Later on, she played a waitress in François OZON’s The New Girlfriend with Romain DURIS and Anaïs DEMOUSTIER, co-starred in Rose et le soldat along with Fred TESTOT and played the part of Anaïs in Mia HANSEN-LØVE’s Eden.
In 2015, she played the remarkable Nesrine in Fatima, directed by Philippe FAUCON, for which she won the César for Best Promising Actress. Fatima won three César, including Best Feature. She played the part of a medicine student struggling against social determinism, as her parents were North African immigrants who can’t speak French well.
In 2016, she acts in De sas en sas, a drama directed by Rachida BRAKNI on women visiting their relative in the visiting room of the Fleury-Mérogis penitentiary. She is also writing a short film.
