SYNOPSIS

Sol Nazeman witnessed the death of his wife and son in the extermination camps. A Holocaust survivor, he left Germany for Harlem, New York, where he works as a pawnbroker. He’s cold, emotionless, both in his business which he runs with an icy detachment, or in his interactions. Deep down, Sol is weighed down by the memory of the camps and the survivor guilt. His broken heart needs an electroshock to beat again. This shock will come from his young runner. Unaware of his past, he makes clumsy attempts to make him come out of his shell...
