Jean-Baptiste Leonetti started his career in television before turning to advertising. In 2008, he founded Solair Films, a company through which he developed and produced his first feature film, Carré Blanc. The film was presented at the Toronto International Film Festival, praised by critics and went on to win the French Critics Union award.
