SYNOPSIS
A building in a collective housing bloc. An out-of-service elevator. Three encounters. Six characters. Will Sternkowitz leave his wheelchair to find love with a night nurse? Will Charly, the neglected teenager, succeed in finding a part for Jeanne Meyer, an 1980s actress? And what will become of John McKenzie, an astronaut fallen from the sky and rescued by Mrs Hamida?

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Samuel Benchetrit was born in 1973 in Champigny-sur- Marne. In 2000, he published his first novel, Récit d’un branleur. At the age of 33 he began his biography, in five volumes, entitled Les Chroniques de l’Asphalte. In 2008; he comes back to cinema with I Always Wanted to Be a Gangster, winning the prize for best screenplay at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. In 2014, he started shooting Macadam Stories, inspired by his autobiographical novels.
